Front Yard Refresh
A complete front-yard makeover that transformed an older Lansing home's curb appeal in under two weeks.
About this project
Older Lansing home, great bones, completely dated front-yard landscaping. Overgrown junipers, broken concrete walkway, and beds that hadn't been edited in a decade.
We cleared everything out, designed a new front bed layout with structure and seasonal color, replaced the cracked walkway with a wider bluestone walk, and added low-voltage path lighting. The house now looks like itself again.
Materials used
- Bluestone walkway with mortared joints
- Mix of evergreen structure and perennial color
- Premium aged hardwood mulch
- Brass path lighting
Challenges solved
- Removing 30+ years of overgrown junipers and root systems
- Matching new walkway to the existing front steps
